KPFF Consulting Engineers is seeking an AEC Marketing Coordinator to support proposals and content from our Portland office on a hybrid schedule. This role collaborates with engineers, project managers, and the marketing team to craft persuasive pursuit materials, manage content assets, and align communications with brand standards. You will translate complex technical information into clear narratives that showcase project understanding and team strengths.
Proposal Coordination & Pursuits
- Lead and contribute to RFQ/RFP responses, qualifications packages, presentations, and interview materials for prime and subconsultant pursuits, handling coordination, writing, editing, and formatting.
- Support or co-lead the full proposal lifecycle from kickoff to final delivery, overseeing schedules, task assignments, compliance checks, and production.
- Partner with technical staff, project managers, and marketing colleagues to shape pursuit strategies, develop key messaging, and craft client-focused narratives.
- Convert technical content into accessible, persuasive copy that communicates project understanding, team strengths, and design outcomes.
- Create and maintain proposal content including resumes, project descriptions, graphics, charts, and boilerplate materials.
- Ensure materials are consistent, accurate, well-edited, properly formatted, and aligned with brand guidelines.
- Monitor procurement portals and assist with opportunity tracking and pursuit research.
- Assist with interview preparation, pursuit debriefs, and ongoing improvements to proposal processes and materials.
Marketing & Communications Support
- Assist internal marketing and communications efforts, producing presentations, graphics, employee engagement materials, and promotional content.
- Maintain and organize marketing assets, templates, photography, resumes, project data, and content libraries.
- Contribute to updates of the company website, intranet, CRM system, and social media channels.
- Support ongoing enhancements to marketing systems, workflows, and content management practices.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of experience in AEC marketing, proposal coordination, or professional services marketing.
- Experience managing RFQ/RFP responses and navigating the full proposal lifecycle from kickoff through delivery.
- Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and visual communication skills with the ability to develop clear, persuasive messaging from technical content.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and Adobe Creative Suite, with a focus on InDesign.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration abilities.
- Understanding of how AI tools can support efficiency while recognizing their limitations and risks in professional communications.

Compensation
The base pay range for this role is $38.00 to $42.00 per hour, determined by experience, education, and skills. Performance-based bonuses are available to recognize outstanding contributions. KPFF is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
