In this role you will craft copy and shape content strategy across onboarding, engagement, retention, and subscriptions, spanning newsletters, push notifications, and in‑app messages, while supporting email and app lifecycle programs. The position carries a salary of USD 60,000 to 70,000 per year and a robust benefits package designed to support you and your family. Responsibilities
- Write engaging, action‑oriented copy for lifecycle campaigns, including onboarding flows, win‑back emails, and acquisition initiatives.
- Own the content strategy for the recipe newsletter with data‑driven insights and a pulse on trending food topics.
- Plan, execute, and optimize lifecycle marketing programs across onboarding, engagement, retention, and paid subscription marketing as defined by the Director.
- Coordinate campaign timelines, deliverables, and workflows to keep projects organized and on track.
- Oversee campaign QA, testing, scheduling, and approvals to ensure flawless execution.
- Support and execute A/B and multivariate testing to continually refine messaging across lifecycle touchpoints.
- Monitor campaign performance and user behavior to optimize lifecycle programs and lifetime value.
- Stay current with lifecycle marketing trends and best practices to keep MyRecipes ahead of the curve.
- Collaborate with brand, magazine, and newsletter teams to align campaigns with broader brand goals.
- Communicate progress and challenges to stakeholders in a timely, solutions‑oriented manner.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in lifecycle marketing, content strategy, or email marketing, preferably within a digital product or consumer brand environment.
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with the ability to adapt to brand voice and audience needs.
- Excellent organizational and project management capabilities; able to manage deadlines and coordinate across teams.
- Collaborative mindset, open to feedback, and able to contribute to a fast‑moving team.
- Passion for food is a plus and a genuine interest in digital innovation is welcomed.

In‑office expectations
This position offers remote work flexibility. If you live within commuting distance of our New York or Des Moines offices, you will be expected to work from the office three days per week.
Team context
This role sits within our centralized Growth and Audience Relationship team, responsible for growing direct relationships between our brands and consumers and operating newsletters, notifications, and lifecycle marketing programs. It supports the MyRecipes marketing team and is deeply embedded in day‑to‑day operations and business.
