Job Description

Farmboy is looking for a Junior Digital Marketing Specialist to join its digital strategy and marketing team in Clive, IA (onsite). This part-time role is designed for hands-on impact across digital content, website updates, reporting support, and project coordination, with potential to develop into a full-time permanent position.

You’ll work alongside the Director of Digital Strategy and the broader team, helping execute day-to-day marketing and website tasks while building skills across multiple platforms and processes. The schedule is flexible, and you’ll also receive paid time off.

Responsibilities

Assist with digital content creation, including editing, formatting, and optimization
Support website content migration during builds, redesigns, and launches
Publish and format blog and website content within content management systems
Update website content and on-page elements such as metadata and schema
Provide support for website-related marketing updates and incoming requests
Assist with SEMrush-related tasks and broader digital marketing support
Help gather, organize, and prepare marketing and website performance reports
Track assigned work, deadlines, and project progress in the project management system
Follow established processes and quality-control procedures
Run accuracy and quality checks on completed work
Support the Director of Digital Strategy and wider team with a variety of digital marketing, website, content, reporting, and project-related tasks
Learn and work within new platforms, systems, and processes as needed

Requirements

Some previous or current education, work experience, internship experience, freelance experience, or hands-on exposure to marketing, digital marketing, communications, content, or a related area
Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
Excellent attention to detail
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Ability to accurately track tasks, deadlines, and project progress
Comfortable learning and working within multiple digital platforms
Ability to follow established processes while also working independently
Willingness to take on a wide variety of assignments across marketing rather than focusing on one narrow area
Dependable, responsive, and able to manage multiple priorities
Comfortable asking questions, receiving feedback, and learning quickly
