Job Description

UC Health, LLC seeks a Senior Public Relations and Marketing Consultant to shape strategic marketing and communications while steering creative design across campaigns and brand initiatives. Based in Cincinnati with a hybrid work model, this role collaborates with cross-functional teams to enable organizational growth through thoughtful storytelling, cohesive visuals, and proven design leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize and execute innovative creative for campaigns, digital channels, print materials, social media, and brand initiatives
  • Translate strategic briefs into clear, compelling visual ideas and systems
  • Push creative beyond the expected, elevating concept, craft, and storytelling
  • Guide projects from concept through final execution with minimal oversight
  • Provide direction and feedback to designers to elevate overall team output
  • Stay ahead of design trends, tools, and emerging approaches, applying them thoughtfully
  • Collaborate with marketing, communications, digital, and clinical stakeholders to develop effective solutions
  • Work closely with writers and strategists to bring integrated ideas to life
  • Present and defend creative work clearly, tying decisions back to strategy
  • Navigate feedback from multiple stakeholders while protecting the integrity of the work
  • Build strong relationships that position creative as a strategic partner, not a production function
  • Ensure consistency, quality, and accuracy across all brand touchpoints
  • Uphold and refine brand standards, visual systems, and templates
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen and modernize the brand expression
  • Serve as a go-to resource for brand guidance across the organization
  • Manage multiple projects independently, balancing priorities and deadlines
  • Own the creative process from intake through final delivery
  • Partner with project managers and stakeholders to align on scope and timelines
  • Prepare production-ready files for print, digital, and vendor handoff
  • Proactively identify risks and solve problems before they impact delivery
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Communication Design, or a related field (B.A. or B.S.)
  • Minimum of 5 years equivalent experience
