Job Description
UC Health, LLC seeks a Senior Public Relations and Marketing Consultant to shape strategic marketing and communications while steering creative design across campaigns and brand initiatives. Based in Cincinnati with a hybrid work model, this role collaborates with cross-functional teams to enable organizational growth through thoughtful storytelling, cohesive visuals, and proven design leadership.
Responsibilities
- Conceptualize and execute innovative creative for campaigns, digital channels, print materials, social media, and brand initiatives
- Translate strategic briefs into clear, compelling visual ideas and systems
- Push creative beyond the expected, elevating concept, craft, and storytelling
- Guide projects from concept through final execution with minimal oversight
- Provide direction and feedback to designers to elevate overall team output
- Stay ahead of design trends, tools, and emerging approaches, applying them thoughtfully
- Collaborate with marketing, communications, digital, and clinical stakeholders to develop effective solutions
- Work closely with writers and strategists to bring integrated ideas to life
- Present and defend creative work clearly, tying decisions back to strategy
- Navigate feedback from multiple stakeholders while protecting the integrity of the work
- Build strong relationships that position creative as a strategic partner, not a production function
- Ensure consistency, quality, and accuracy across all brand touchpoints
- Uphold and refine brand standards, visual systems, and templates
- Identify opportunities to strengthen and modernize the brand expression
- Serve as a go-to resource for brand guidance across the organization
- Manage multiple projects independently, balancing priorities and deadlines
- Own the creative process from intake through final delivery
- Partner with project managers and stakeholders to align on scope and timelines
- Prepare production-ready files for print, digital, and vendor handoff
- Proactively identify risks and solve problems before they impact delivery
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Communication Design, or a related field (B.A. or B.S.)
- Minimum of 5 years equivalent experience
