Social Media & Marketing Specialist

Lazy River Products is seeking a Social Media & Marketing Specialist to shape and manage the brand's digital footprint within the cannabis market. The role emphasizes content creation, influencer relationships, and strategic support for marketing initiatives across Instagram and Facebook.

This position is based on-site in Dracut, MA, and involves delivering a consistent, on-camera brand presence while partnering with marketing and finance leadership on campaigns and partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Content Creation & Brand Representation: capture, edit, and publish high-quality daily organic content for Instagram and Facebook using company equipment, while serving as a confident on-camera personality and key brand face.
• Influencer & Partnership Management: source and manage relationships with creators, celebrities, and cannabis influencers; lead initial outreach and pitch meetings; collaborate with marketing and finance leadership on budgets and contracts.
• Collaborative Campaigns: act as the primary marketing contact for vendor partners and other brands to plan and execute cross-promotional campaigns after target brands are identified and content is approved by Marketing Management.
• Data Analysis: track monthly performance metrics, translate data into actionable insights, and recommend strategic next steps.
• Marketing Support: design digital and physical assets for retail, input promotional data into the email marketing calendar, and develop social content for promotions.
• Compliance & Consistency: maintain an engaging lifestyle brand voice while strictly adhering to Massachusetts cannabis advertising regulations and platform policies.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2-4 years of proven cannabis social media/marketing experience, and/or a strong portfolio demonstrating successful content creation and audience building.
• 2-4 years of proven cannabis social media content creation experience.

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm with a 30-minute break (40 hours/week)
