Job Description

Marriott International's Luxury Collection seeks a Senior Manager, Global Brand Marketing to lead the global brand narrative and steer campaigns across continents. This hybrid role based in Bethesda, MD anchors the long term brand strategy and oversees partnerships, creative direction, and performance for a portfolio within The Luxury Collection. You will own audience insights, manage the brand experience across web and email, and partner with cross functional teams to drive measurable results on a global scale.

Responsibilities

  • Own audience insights, market research, and brand profiles
  • Define the global brand strategy and ensure its pull-through across the marketing approach
  • Collaborate with peers in brand marketing to elevate the Luxury Collection across the brand group
  • Partner with the Social Center of Excellence to develop creative social channels
  • Work with Public Relations, managing the PR budget and aligning press strategy and KPIs with brand needs
  • Own the brand website and email experience, guiding discipline teams to boost traffic, awareness and results
  • Select and manage agency partners for key campaigns and initiatives
  • Oversee strategy and execution of all brand paid media efforts and manage the media agency
  • Guide the Partnership Center of Excellence to create programs that deliver brand results
  • Own global marketing campaigns from strategy and creative through performance optimization
  • Maintain the brand style guide and ensure consistent application across the company
  • Develop and manage brand assets, collateral, and resources; oversee asset library and usage rights
  • Collaborate with Brand Management on innovation and programs to ensure a Marketing Leadership voice
  • Work with Continental Luxury Brand Leaders, Luxury Managing Directors, Regional VPs and discipline heads to implement the global strategy regionally
  • Provide brand marketing guidance to North American hotels to ensure on-brand execution
  • Lead marketing vendor strategy and oversee third-party agencies and vendors
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to establish KPIs, ensure brand coherence, and optimize project spend
  • Support global growth initiatives to drive on-strategy expansion in key markets
  • Utilize brand performance metrics to grow awareness, affinity and loyalty within a strategic plan
  • Support regional and continental brand training and content as needed
  • Participate in key meetings with general managers and marketing managers
  • Submit projects and reports promptly, meeting delivery deadlines
  • Present ideas, expectations, and information in a concise and organized manner

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field plus 8+ years of relevant experience with a pattern of exceptional performance, or 8+ years of relevant marketing experience with a pattern of exceptional performance

Candidate profile

  • 4-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, or related major plus 8+ years of relevant experience with a pattern of exceptional performance, or 8+ years of relevant marketing experience with a pattern of exceptional performance
  • Experience defining transformational strategies for business units
  • Proven ability to deliver results amid complexity and ambiguity
  • Track record of managing and scaling complex brand marketing programs
  • Expertise in brand campaigns, partnerships and program marketing
  • Strong budget management skills
  • Luxury goods, travel and hospitality experience is strongly preferred
