Marketing Specialist

Summertown Metals, LLC, based in Morristown, Tennessee, is seeking a full-time Marketing Specialist to strengthen search visibility and content across our brand. The role centers on SEO, AI-driven search optimization, and content creation, working closely with the in-house graphic designer while delivering marketing execution across channels. This position focuses on strategy, messaging, and content rather than graphic design.

Responsibilities

• Assist the ongoing SEO plan and optimize website content to raise search visibility across company sites.
• Contribute to increasing exposure on Google Search, AI-driven search results, AI Overviews, and other answer-based surfaces.
• Conduct keyword research, study customer inquiries, identify content gaps, and track industry topics.
• Create and coordinate website copy, blogs, FAQs, guides, landing pages, email content, and social media messaging.
• Help with site updates, simple page layout improvements, landing pages, and ongoing site management.
• Support on-page SEO tasks such as headings, titles, metadata, internal links, content structure, and copy optimized for search.
• Identify opportunities to implement structured content, FAQs, schema markup, and content friendly to AI search.
• Assist with email marketing, customer follow-up communications, and basic marketing automations.
• Coordinate with the in-house graphic designer, marketing team, sales teams, branch staff, vendors, and partners.
• Maintain a consistent brand voice and messaging across the website, email, social channels, print materials, and campaigns.
• Review content and site performance and propose actionable improvements.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Direct experience in SEO is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with AI search concepts, answer engine optimization, AI Overviews, structured content, or emerging search trends is preferred.
• Some exposure to website design, management, CMS platforms, landing pages, page layouts, or content updates is advantageous.
• Experience in content writing, email marketing, local SEO, social media, or campaign coordination is desirable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to craft clear, helpful, customer-focused marketing copy.
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and prioritize effectively.
• Dependable, self-motivated, and willing to take ownership of tasks.
