Job Description

Own end-to-end product operations so launches hit on time, product data stays accurate, and inventory stays balanced across channels.

Responsibilities

  • Work backward from launch dates to define build quantity, production order timing, and pre-launch actions needed for go-live
  • Enter and maintain product data as the source of truth, including images, categories, tags, and pricing (right the first time)
  • Assign sales channels by product and determine when each channel goes live across junkbrands.com, Amazon, Walmart.com, Faire, TikTok Shop, and wholesale accounts such as Lids and Scheels
  • Create and drive the launch punch list: channel needs, owners, due dates, and follow-through until complete
  • Present production orders for approval and submit them by required dates
  • Identify risks that could delay launches and escalate issues early while there is time to resolve
  • Ensure product data and imagery are accurate across three brands and wherever customers view them
  • Manage lifecycle updates from in-line to sale to close out to seasonal, keeping every channel aligned
  • Handle inventory transfers so inventory is positioned where products sell
  • Validate product presentation across the website and all other channels: correct product, description, visuals, copy, and price
  • Prepare data for import and export, including manual entry when needed
  • Monitor weeks of supply by SKU and by collection, raising risk before stockouts or overstock situations occur
  • Own replenishment: review and verify automated recommendations, present production orders, and enter orders after approval
  • Lead SKU rationalization by identifying underperformers, recommending cuts, and managing wind-down
  • Manage collections from introduction through exit
  • Reconcile inventory data across systems and investigate and resolve discrepancies
  • Maintain reporting on sell through, coverage, and inventory position
  • Serve as the key interface with the customization software partner
  • Act as the Customer Product Administrator, establishing business rules and providing general oversight of the customization engine with collaboration from Marketing and Development
  • Ensure custom blanks are set up with correct product information
  • Monitor and troubleshoot customer customization issues
  • Provide regular status report outs to keep the organization informed
  • Continuously look for opportunities for automation and work assistance; comfortable using AI to optimize duties in a changing information landscape

Requirements

  • Advanced skill set in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to work across multiple systems and data formats
  • Ability to collaborate to support day-to-day data management
  • Strong time management and multi-tasking skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly motivated with a strong work ethic and demonstrated flexibility to meet tight deadlines
  • Good visual, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Highly accountable with strong follow-up skills
  • Working knowledge of inventory fundamentals: weeks of supply, sell through, safety stock, and lead time
  • Understand each sales channel has unique requirements and lead times, and plan accordingly
  • Comfort making recommendations from imperfect data and explaining the reasoning
  • Willing to question automated results rather than accept them at face value
  • 2+ years in product data, merchandising, planning, or inventory management preferred
  • Experience with an ERP or inventory planning system is a plus
  • Advanced skill set in Microsoft Word and Excel
