Marketing Manager

Texas Marketing Manager at OmniSource in Dayton, TX onsite leads and executes marketing initiatives to promote recycling services and strengthen ties with industrial and commercial clients to drive business growth.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate, develop, evaluate, and track employee training for growth and development.
• Coordinate and oversee divisional marketing staff.
• Review and analyze weights and margins on inbound materials.
• Contribute to the creation and execution of long term, short term, and annual goals.
• Assess margins for spot buying and new account opportunities.
• Plan and host customer outings and events.
• Coordinate monthly retail pricing strategy and manage the scrap inventory process.
• Develop and maintain monthly pricing for non-formula industrial accounts.
• Review, evaluate, and respond to customer bids.
• Coordinate monthly sales reporting through the Commercial Marketing group.
• Track and manage performance metrics for the divisional marketing function.
• Support internal and external customers by resolving issues as they arise.
• Retain and maintain profitable accounts within established pricing guidelines.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of scrap pricing, material identification, costs, operations, finance, and transportation.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to make decisions in a fast paced, evolving environment.
• Ability to generate and close deals.
• Flexible schedule with travel required.
• Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, and JD Edwards.
• College degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
