As Marketing Lead for Events, you will own the end-to-end strategy for our live events portfolio, from the flagship Bitcoin Conference to international series, guiding how we attract, convert, and retain audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end marketing strategy for all BTC Inc live events, including positioning, audience targeting, campaign architecture, channel mix, and messaging
  • Develop clear, delegable strategy briefs that empower product management and content teams to execute without back-and-forth clarifications
  • Continuously refine strategies based on live performance data so campaigns improve in motion
  • Develop and maintain audience profiles across all events, defining who we target, why, and how those profiles evolve
  • Conduct competitive research across Bitcoin events and adjacent industries such as finance, tech, and policy
  • Track IRL activation trends and analyze how peer and aspirational brands market live experiences
  • Maintain a living, organized view of the event marketing landscape that the broader team can reference
  • Collaborate closely with the Head of Events on audience segmentation, ticketing strategy, and campaign timing
  • Coordinate with Growth Marketing, Content, and Social on campaign execution
  • Align with sponsorship on event positioning and sponsor value storytelling

Requirements

  • 5 to 7 plus years in event marketing or a closely related field, with hands-on experience owning strategy for large-scale live events
  • Ability to distinguish strategy from a plan and write clear strategy briefs that others can convert into plans
  • Fluent in performance data and able to make strategic decisions in real time
  • Experience with competitive and audience research that yields actionable insights
  • Understanding of how in-person event experiences and digital marketing work together
  • Proactive communicator who surfaces risks and opportunities early
  • Comfortable in a fully remote environment and self-motivated to stay connected
  • Experience with HubSpot or a similar CRM
  • Experience with Notion or a similar workflow management platform
  • Uses AI to work faster and smarter and integrates it into daily workflow
  • Genuine interest in Bitcoin
