Marketing Director
Job Description
The Marketing Director leads admissions and marketing initiatives for a skilled nursing facility in Dayton, Ohio, focusing on building referral networks to grow resident census. Prior skilled nursing experience is required to succeed in this role.
Role Details
- Location: Dayton, OH (onsite)
- Compensation: USD 25 - 30 per hour
- Experience: Minimum 2 years
Responsibilities
- Develop and leverage tools and resources to strengthen relationships with referral sources, identifying opportunities to grow admissions and census.
- Conduct on-site admission evaluations at local hospitals to assess potential referrals and clinical needs for admission.
- Proactively pursue potential residents and facilitate referrals.
- Serve as liaison between the facility and families during pre-admission and admission, educating about programs and services as needed.
- Manage tours, admission screening, and initial inquiries.
- Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to ensure comprehensive screening prior to admission.
- Ensure timely completion of admission packets.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
- Skilled nursing home experience is required.
- Two years of experience as an Admission Coordinator.
- Medical knowledge and terminology.
- Understanding of healthcare reimbursement programs.
- Energetic and capable of making connections within the community.
- Strong oral, written, and organizational skills to communicate with residents, families, visitors, government agencies, staff, and the public.
Education and Skills
- Two years of experience as an Admission Coordinator.
- Long Term Care experience preferred (1 year).
- Medical knowledge and terminology.
- Insurance authorization experience preferred.
- Understanding of healthcare reimbursement programs.
- Energetic, enthusiastic, and able to connect with the community.
- Excellent oral, written, and organizational communication skills.
