Marketing Coordinator
Job Description
The Marketing Coordinator at M/I Homes helps keep digital experiences current and effective across communities, homes, and plans. This onsite role in Columbus supports website content management and campaign coordination, using website editing, performance measurement, and foundational digital marketing knowledge to drive visibility and lead generation.
What you’ll do
- Edit, upload, and audit website content, including writing and revising valid HTML that aligns with brand and technical standards.
- Coordinate assigned marketing project tasks and workflows to support accurate, on-time delivery of digital content and campaign assets.
- Support cross-functional teams through education, training, and guidance on website content processes, standards, and tools.
- Analyze and audit referral websites for content accuracy, traffic performance, and improvement opportunities.
- Monitor and research lead generation activity and digital performance trends to surface content and campaign insights.
- Compile, validate, and analyze website, campaign, and lead data to produce recurring and ad hoc performance reports.
- Contribute to digital content brainstorming and campaign planning by recommending topics, formats, and improvements based on performance information.
- Coordinate with external vendors and cross-functional partners to execute and measure digital campaigns and website initiatives.
What you’ll need
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with the ability to adapt content to the M/I Homes brand voice and tone.
- Basic understanding of search engine marketing, including SEO, pay-per-click, keyword research, and link building.
- Basic understanding of web analytics and website performance metrics.
- General awareness of web content management and/or content management system platforms.
- Ability to read and write basic HTML, CSS, and XML.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel to compile, analyze, and report website traffic and performance data.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to work independently, prioritize competing work, and manage multiple tasks accurately.
- Excellent attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills, with initiative to learn new technical applications.

Minimum education and experience
- One to two years of experience in digital content creation, content curation, website administration, digital marketing, or a related field.
- Experience supporting the execution and measurement of digital marketing campaigns.
Work conditions
- In-person role at the Easton Town Center office in Columbus, Ohio.
- Regular use of a computer and web-based systems to create, review, analyze, and report digital content and performance information.
