Job Description

Marriott International, Inc. is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join its Portland team in an on-site, administrative capacity. This full-time role supports marketing and sales activities within a luxury hospitality environment, with open availability and experience in marketing, sales, or luxury brands preferred. The position emphasizes coordinating between the sales office and client partners throughout the event lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support, including preparing documents using word processing software, spreadsheets, databases, or presentations
  • Serve as a liaison between the sales office and clients across the entire process (pre-event, during the event, and post-event)
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and departments, supporting the team to achieve shared goals
  • Listen to and respond appropriately to colleagues' concerns
  • Report accidents, damages, and hazardous situations to the manager
  • Engage in tasks such as moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, and placing objects under 10 pounds without assistance
  • Stay actively engaged throughout the shift, including standing, sitting, and walking for extended periods; capable of bending, squatting, twisting, stretching, and bending the knees
  • Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors
