Marketing and Communications Coordinator
Job Description
Troon is seeking a Marketing and Communications Coordinator to oversee the Silver Creek Valley Country Club’s digital presence and ensure timely, brand-consistent communication across channels.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute marketing tactics and strategy to increase awareness of the Silver Creek Valley CC brand and support the Sales & Marketing Plan
- Collaborate with onsite club management, Board and Committees, and the Troon Corporate team to align marketing execution
- Drive content development and support production of membership materials for prospecting, onboarding, and retention efforts
- Lead marketing activities defined in the Sales & Marketing Plan (including paid digital efforts, new homeowner outreach initiatives, realtor relations, etc.)
- Manage social media platforms for Silver Creek Valley CC: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube
- Create and schedule posts, monitor engagement, and respond to comments
- Produce visual and written assets (photos, video, copy) for internal and external distribution
- Monitor analytics for web and social channels and provide performance reports
- Develop a Club communications plan covering email communications through newsletters
- Design and execute a monthly Club newsletter featuring content from each department
- Update calendars and events, menus, hours of operation, event albums, and related information
- Coordinate, edit, and send email communications on behalf of Club Departments, Boards, and Committees
- Collect content and serve as the lead point for website functionality and performance
- Support club and community success through positive, hospitality-focused interactions with members, coworkers, and management
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the General Manager or Sales Director
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in digital marketing, communications, or social media
- Associate’s degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college; Business & Marketing preferred
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CMS platforms, and social scheduling tools
- Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong eye for design and visual storytelling
- Strong organization skills: time management, attention to detail, and ability to self-start
- Ability to multi-task and deliver high-quality work under strict deadlines
- Team player with the ability to work cooperatively with other departments, committees, and the Board to meet club goals
- Proficiency on social media platforms; experience with ad creation and campaign management preferred
- Familiarity with Club system software preferred
- Valid Driver’s License
