The Field Marketing and Venue Booking Associate role at Main Street Hall (Banquet Hall) in downtown Temple, TX focuses on community outreach, local field marketing, and coordinating venue bookings. Compensation is performance-based, with earnings tied to tours, bookings, and marketing results.

Compensation & Earning Potential

• Hourly pay: $35.00 - $140.00 per hour
• First month: $15/hour for preapproved research and administrative work
• After first month: $20/hour for preapproved work
• Tour pay: $35 per completed venue tour
• Booking bonus: Additional $35 when that client books
• Tour length: Tours typically take 20 to 45 minutes
• Marketing commission: 15% commission on qualifying bookings generated directly through your marketing efforts (does not apply to organic leads)
• Revenue milestone bonus: $300 bonus for reaching $6,000 in monthly revenue
• Quarterly booking bonus: $1,000 bonus for achieving 14 qualifying bookings per quarter
• Additional incentives: Available for consecutive quarters of strong performance
• Preapproved marketing expenses: Covered

Note: Actual earnings depend on activity, bookings, and performance. Commission eligibility, revenue milestones, bonus qualifications, and payment terms are subject to the agreed compensation plan and applicable wage requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Research potential clients and referral partners using simple Google searches.
• Visit local businesses to introduce the venue and distribute brochures.
• Build referral partnerships through calls, emails, and personal visits.
• Assist with promotion planning, open houses, and occasional networking events.
• Create engaging Facebook and Instagram content at least once weekly.
• Respond to inquiries, schedule and conduct venue tours, and follow up with prospective clients.
• Prepare simple invoices and maintain the booking calendar.

• Funeral homes & flower shops (memorial receptions, celebrations of life, weddings, and special occasions)
• Bridal, formalwear & quinceañera dress shops (wedding and celebration referrals)
• Party supply stores (balloon shops, decorators, rental companies, and bakeries)
• Event professionals (wedding planners, photographers, caterers, DJs, and vendors)
• Hotels & hospitality (meetings, receptions, and private events)
• Businesses & corporations (holiday parties, banquets, and employee events)
• Churches, schools & universities (services, graduations, reunions, and celebrations)
• Nonprofits & community organizations (fundraisers, galas, and recurring events)

Required Qualifications

• Must live within approximately 20 minutes of downtown Temple, TX to accommodate tours and occasional short-notice appointments.
• Maintain a polished, classy, well-groomed, and neatly manicured professional appearance while representing the venue.
• No smoking or vaping while working, conducting tours, or representing the venue.
• Friendly, dependable, punctual, organized, and comfortable interacting with clients.
• Reliable transportation and flexible availability for occasional evenings and weekends.
• Proactive, responsive, and motivated to help grow the business.
