Field Sales and Marketing Representative
Job Description
Field Sales and Marketing Representative role in Kirksville, MO, focused on in-store sales and marketing for TTI brands at a major retailer.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional sales and customer service to shoppers while demonstrating strong knowledge and enthusiasm for TTI product lines.
- Support and execute corporate brand marketing strategies and promotional campaigns.
- Foster ongoing relationships with store staff and leadership through regular communication.
- Track weekly sales, review monthly results, and identify opportunities while assessing the competitive landscape.
- Engage in the TTI Training Program and apply learned skills to achieve results.
- Organize and conduct in-store product trainings and demonstrations for staff, management, and customers.
- Maintain professional communication with colleagues, customers, and store management.
- Plan and run product demonstrations, store walks, trade shows, and similar events.
- Develop core market knowledge covering users, applications, products, competition, and channels to evaluate market potential and share competitor insights.
- Ensure store and product presentation meets merchandising standards with proper positioning and objective completion.
- Reduce stockouts by managing inventory levels to maintain product availability.
- Assist with merchandising resets and installations to refresh or expand brand presence in stores.
- Sell directly to customers within the retail environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in retail sales, field sales, or customer service required.
- Minimum age of 21.
- Valid United States driver’s license in your state of residence with at least one year of driving experience.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and Motor Vehicle Report screening.
- Maintain valid personal vehicle insurance as the primary driver.
- Willingness to travel to assigned store locations and to meetings, projects, events, etc.
- May be required to transport a small amount of company property (demo tools, toolkit, supplies).
- Relocation may be required for future promotional opportunities.
- Ability to work nights and weekends; weekend shifts may be required at various times.
- Full-time work in a retail environment.
- Ability to stand for the duration of the shift, with meal and rest breaks.
- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship or restrictions.
- Ability to lift and move heavy tools up to 50 pounds; request assistance as needed.
- Capable of overhead reaching and ladder usage to move products.
- Skillful hand usage to maneuver small objects, assemble tools, and build displays.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Self-motivated team player with strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills.
