Field Sales and Marketing Representative
Job Description
A field sales and marketing role with TTI at a major retailer partner in Grand Rapids, MN, combining hands-on selling with in-store brand marketing, trainings, and demonstrations.
Responsibilities
- Deliver excellent sales and service to shoppers while showcasing strong knowledge and enthusiasm for TTI products.
- Support and execute corporate brand marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns.
- Maintain regular contact with store staff and management to build solid relationships.
- Track weekly sales and analyze monthly performance to identify opportunities and gauge the competitive landscape.
- Complete the TTI Training Program and apply new skills to drive results.
- Lead in-store product trainings and demonstrations for store staff, management, and customers.
- Communicate professionally with peers, customers, and management.
- Plan and run demo events, store walks, and trade show activities.
- Develop foundational knowledge of the marketplace to analyze market potential and relay competitor data.
- Maintain store and product presentation through merchandising, positioning, and objective completion.
- Down stock products and monitor inventory to ensure product availability.
- Participate in merchandising resets and installations to refresh brand presence in stores.
- Sell directly to customers within the retail environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in retail sales, field sales, or customer service required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Valid United States driver’s license in your state of residence with at least one year of driving experience.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and Motor Vehicle Report screening.
- Maintain valid personal vehicle insurance as the primary driver.
- Occasional travel to/from assigned store locations and to meetings, projects, and events.
- Ability to transport a small amount of company property (demo tools, tool kit, supplies).
- Relocation may be required for future promotional opportunities.
- Ability to work nights and weekends; weekends required at various points throughout the year.
- Ability to work in a retail environment full-time.
- Ability to stand for the duration of the shift, with meal and rest breaks.
- Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship or restrictions.
- Capable of lifting and transporting heavy tools up to 50 lbs and requesting assistance as needed.
- Capable of reaching and lifting overhead and climbing ladders to move product.
- Capable of handling small objects and assembling tools and displays.
- MS Office proficiency.
- Self-motivated team player with strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills.
