Job Description

The Field Sales and Marketing Representative role operates onsite in Wausau, Wisconsin, focusing on driving sales at a key retailer partner while executing brand marketing efforts, training store staff, and managing in-store merchandising for Techtronic Industries (TTI).

Responsibilities

  • Deliver superior sales and customer service to shoppers while demonstrating strong product knowledge and enthusiasm for TTI offerings.
  • Support and execute strategic brand marketing initiatives and promotional programs.
  • Maintain regular communication with store associates and managers to build durable working relationships.
  • Track weekly sales and review monthly results to identify opportunities and assess the competitive landscape.
  • Engage in the TTI Training Program and apply newly acquired skills to achieve measurable results.
  • Lead in-store product training sessions and live demonstrations for staff, management, and customers.
  • Communicate professionally with peers, customers, and leadership across the organization.
  • Plan and conduct demo events, store walks, trade show participation, and related activities.
  • Develop a solid understanding of the marketplace, including users, applications, products, competition, and channels, to analyze market potential and convey competitor data.
  • Maintain visual merchandising and product presentation in line with brand standards and goals.
  • Replenish stock and monitor inventory levels to ensure product availability for sales.
  • Participate in merchandising resets and installations to refresh or expand brand presence in stores.
  • Sell directly to customers within the retail environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in retail sales, field sales, or customer service.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Valid United States driver’s license with at least one year of driving experience.
  • Ability to pass a drug screen and Motor Vehicle Report screening.
  • Maintain valid personal auto insurance as the primary driver.
  • Willingness to travel to and from assigned store locations, meetings, projects, and events.
  • Ability to transport a small amount of company property (demo tools, toolkit, supplies).
  • Relocation may be required for future promotional opportunities.
  • Ability to work nights and weekends, with weekend hours required at certain times.
  • Full-time capability within a retail environment.
  • Ability to stand for the duration of the shift, with meal and rest breaks provided.
  • Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship or restrictions.
  • Capable of lifting and transporting heavy tools up to 50 pounds and requesting assistance as needed.
  • Able to reach overhead and ascend/descend ladders to move products.
  • Proficient in handling small objects, assembling tools, and building displays.
  • Proficiency in MS Office software.
  • Self-motivated team player with strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills.

Compensation

Salary: USD 50,000 – 54,000 per year
