Field Marketing Specialist
Job Description
The Field Marketing Specialist role in Tampa, onsite with Circle K, supports the Fuel & Merchandise Marketing strategy, develops localized campaigns to promote product promotions and store exposure, and coordinates signage and digital assets at the site level, while collaborating with National and Business Area teams to align sign packages with store needs.
Responsibilities
- Guide and support strategic decisions from National, Business Area, and local leadership.
- Ensure the sales plan and signage are executed at each site, aligned with local requirements.
- Support scaling to standardized sign types across locations.
- Assist National and Business Area teams with planning and coordination of all printed and digital signage programs.
- Maintain operation of digital signage assets in stores and on forecourts.
- Reactively manage local media relations.
- Plan and execute local public relations campaigns such as grand openings and post renovation initiatives.
- Develop localized social media marketing campaigns.
- Oversee the business unit marketing and advertising budget.
- Conduct local market research, summarize findings, and present insights.
- Manage internal communications content.
- Provide content for local external digital channels when needed (website, social media).
- Manage the social investment program.
- Plan and prepare crisis communications.
- Participate in the communications network and weekly communications reporting.
- Monitor media coverage.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending workshops, reading industry publications, building networks, or joining professional societies.
- Contribute to team objectives by achieving defined Financial and Key Result Area targets per Company Plan guidelines.
Requirements
- Two or more years of experience in marketing, merchandising and communication or related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal abilities.
- Proven success in media relations and PR campaigns.
- Excellent project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities under tight deadlines, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Experience managing third-party relationships and/or direct reports.
- Customer-focused mindset that prioritizes customer needs in activities and initiatives.
- Commercial mindset aimed at driving business success.
- Creative thinker with solid design and organizational abilities.
- Travel up to 50% may be required.

- Lighting includes natural light and fluorescent lighting.
- Store temperatures are generally moderate to normal.
- Occasional exposure to extreme temperatures when supervising in walk-in coolers or freezers.
- Work with minimal direction and periodic supervision.
