Overview
The Field Marketing Manager, serving as the Warehouse Marketing Support lead, will elevate awareness of the Costco Auto Program within Costco Warehouses, build strategic relationships across assigned territories, and keep management informed on program events, updates, and market trends.
Responsibilities
- Lead independent management of designated territories and client relationships to raise program visibility and brand recognition.
- Establish and sustain relationships with client decision makers, aligning efforts with their goals.
- Deliver superior client service and commit to long-term partnership success.
- Design and execute territory-specific marketing plans to boost program visibility and member engagement.
- Develop campaigns to support new product launches and promotional initiatives.
- Track competitor activity through research and field observations to inform strategic recommendations.
- Stay current on product knowledge and industry trends to clearly communicate program value and Costco vision.
- Plan and manage travel logistics independently, including air and ground transportation arrangements.
- Travel to warehouse locations at least 26 weeks per year to support execution and client engagement.
- Oversee end-to-end program execution, including material receipt, display readiness, and required photo documentation.
- Ensure documentation, confirmations, surveys, and follow-up records are accurate and timely.
- Identify execution risks or compliance gaps and escalate with context and recommended actions.
- Maintain consistent program messaging across interactions and presentations.
- Analyze and report key data at individual, district, and regional levels to guide marketing, displays, and education decisions.
- Document warehouse activity in the CRM, including contacts, displays, visit evaluations, and notes.
- Coordinate with internal teams, dealerships, and warehouse leadership to ensure timely program execution and resolve field issues.
- Deliver virtual and onsite educational presentations for managers and staff.
- Collaborate with your supervisor to stay aligned on marketing trends, opportunities, and territory goals.
- Engage directly with clients to assess needs and present value-added solutions that enhance program performance.
- Perform duties with professionalism, attention to detail, and accountability appropriate for a client-facing field leadership role.

Requirements
- Education and experience: Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination.
- Licenses and physical: Valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Travel readiness: Availability to travel 50% of the year (26+ weeks), including overnight, multi-state, and occasional international travel.
- Logistics: Able to independently plan and manage travel arrangements.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and writing skills for onsite and virtual sessions.
- Interpersonal skills: Strong active listening, objection handling, and multi-level communication capabilities.
- Needs assessment: Proficient in using questions and listening to understand client needs and guide conversations.
- Organization: Highly organized with strong attention to detail and time management.
