The Senior Marketing & Communications Specialist is a strategic, high-impact contributor responsible for advancing the bank’s brand, voice, and market presence across channels. This role emphasizes bank marketing, content development, digital strategy, and design execution, with careful attention to regulatory requirements and brand governance. Collaboration with the Chief Marketing & Communications Officer and business-unit leaders is essential to deliver measurable growth, engagement, and reputation management.
Responsibilities
- Lead the execution of integrated monthly marketing plans across retail, commercial, business, and wealth management lines of business. Develop and deploy multi-channel campaigns (digital, press releases, print, social, in-app, and in-branch) to drive awareness, engagement, and growth; monitor KPI performance and optimize campaigns accordingly.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of all marketing and communications activities to support regulatory compliance and audit readiness. Ensure all advertising, digital marketing, social media, and public-facing content adheres to banking regulations and brand governance.
- Manage and maintain the Bank’s website content and structure to keep information accurate, current, and aligned with brand standards and customer needs.
- Plan and oversee content creation, both in-house and with vendors, to produce high-quality marketing and social media content that elevates storytelling, engagement, and ROI. Ensure voice, tone, and visual identity remain consistent across platforms.
- Lead internal and external communications, developing compelling written content for articles, newsletters, scripts, and campaign messaging across SharePoint, social media, website, and email marketing.
- Oversee creative development and marketing collateral, coordinating in-house and vendor-produced assets such as advertisements, emails, videos, and promotional materials. Act as a quality control checkpoint to ensure brand, compliance, and design excellence; coordinate approvals through internal systems.
Requirements
- 3-5+ years of progressive marketing and communications experience, preferably in banking or financial services.
- Proven ability to develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns and translate complex financial concepts into clear, engaging content.
- Demonstrated success managing social media strategy, SEO, content development, public relations, and performance analytics.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across all organizational levels.
- Strong business acumen and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
- Professional presence with the ability to represent the bank in public and community settings.
- Advanced proficiency with digital marketing tools and platforms, including Hootsuite, email marketing, social media management, and analytics.
- Strong design capabilities with experience in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), Canva, and/or equivalent tools.

- Working knowledge of SEO, campaign tracking, ROI measurement, and digital optimization; excellent writing, editing, and proofreading with brand voice consistency.
