Job Description

Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center offers a collaborative, on-site marketing role focused on developing and executing marketing plans for the organization's service lines. The position works with executive, clinical and department leadership plus external partners to implement traditional and digital marketing strategies, and serves as the in-house expert on healthcare marketing. This full-time opportunity is based in Pomona, CA.

Responsibilities

Develops marketing communications plans and strategies aligned with the organization's business objectives and service lines and programs.
Collaborates with executive, clinical and department leadership to design and implement cost-effective traditional and digital marketing initiatives.
Maintains strong relationships with physician leaders and service lines; demonstrates leadership, reliability, integrity and professionalism, and takes the initiative to learn and understand all aspects of the business as appropriate.
Coordinates with the Marketing & Public Relations Department, consultants and agencies to determine best practices for all marketing and communications efforts.
Participates in department team meetings and contributes to department-wide decisions and implementation strategies.
Is viewed as an expert on healthcare marketing and communications strategies.
Supports the Hospital’s mission, vision and values.
May perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing or communications.
Minimum of three years' marketing or communications experience in a healthcare setting.
High degree of responsibility and accountability with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Presentation, report and proposal skills required.
Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and graphic design software, such as Adobe Creative Cloud or Canva.

Salary

USD 79,200 - 87,300 per year. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
