Sales & Marketing Coordinator

Work in-person in Greater Boston and help expand hands-on STEM education through Pathway BioMedX (PBX). The Pathway Initiative Inc is hiring a Sales & Marketing Coordinator (full-time, business-hours) to promote PBX programs, recruit students, and build long-term relationships with local schools and communities. This role combines science education communication with sales and marketing impact across Boston and surrounding towns.

Why this role

PBX delivers practical learning in STEM, biomedical science, and health sciences for middle and high school students, pairing academic concepts with real laboratory experiences. In this position, you will bring the program to schools and families, supporting PBX’s growth through outreach, demonstrations, and follow-up that turns interest into registrations.

Responsibilities

• Visit private and public schools to promote PBX programs and recruit students.
• Deliver engaging show-and-tell presentations and program demonstrations for students and families.
• Attend back-to-school nights, school fairs, and community events.
• Distribute brochures and promotional materials in targeted communities.
• Build relationships with schools and develop partnerships to support recruitment.
• Create advertising campaigns for Fall programs.
• Follow up with prospective families and convert leads into registrations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a science-related field.
• Sales and marketing experience, preferably in education sales or student recruitment.
• Experience engaging with schools, students, and families.
• Strong communication, presentation, networking, and relationship-building skills.
• Must be based in the Boston area and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Reliable transportation for school and community outreach.
• In-person, business-hours role with regular travel throughout the Greater Boston area.
• Must be able to commute daily to Boston and surrounding towns.

Compensation

Full-time role with $30/hour (listed range: USD 25–30 per hour).
