Marketing Specialist - Budgets
Job Description
Liaison Creative + Marketing is hiring a Marketing Specialist - Budgets to support marketing budget management and reporting across internal teams and external OEM partners. This hybrid-remote role is based in Austin, TX (remote with occasional onsite work a few days a quarter), with collaboration across marketing, finance, and global stakeholders.
What you’ll do
- Build and maintain dashboards that track marketing spend and performance.
- Convert raw data into monthly and quarterly reports for leadership, and handle ad hoc analysis requests quickly and accurately.
- Act as a service-minded point of contact for cross-functional partners and external OEM partners.
- Manage marketing budgets, forecasting, and fund transfers, including rollovers and shift backs.
- Oversee secure distribution and governance of marketing and product content, with clear and proactive communication.
- Partner with Finance and Marketing to keep programs running efficiently.
- Document and improve workflows, support portal operations and system enhancements, and develop expertise in co-marketing programs.
What you bring
- Excel strength plus some basic marketing lifecycle understanding.
- AI-enabled reporting mindset: interest in using AI tools to support budgeting and faster, smarter workflows.
- Currently live in the Austin, Texas area (remote role with occasional onsite work; candidates outside Austin cannot be considered).
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship (for example, not requiring H-1B or STEM-OPT sponsorship).
- 2 to 4 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or marketing operations.
- High proficiency with Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, Power Query, and formulas.
- Proven ability to turn complex data into clear, visual insights using PowerPoint, dashboards, or similar tools to support decisions.
- A service-first, detail-oriented approach, with ownership of tasks and follow-through to completion.
- Curiosity and comfort with AI tools, including Microsoft Copilot.
- Strong written and verbal communication with cross-functional, global stakeholders, with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences.
- Flexibility for occasional early or late calls with teams in Asia and Europe, plus some weekly after-hours team calls.
- Power BI or similar data visualization experience is a plus.

Role details
- Location: Austin, TX (hybrid)
- Compensation: USD 67,000 - 77,000 per year
- Minimum experience: 2 years
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, or a related field
