Marketing Specialist

Town & Country Credit Union in Minot, ND is hiring an all-around Marketing Specialist to support marketing activities across the local market. The role combines community involvement, public relations, and brand-focused campaign work, with hands-on responsibilities spanning events, content, and cross-department promotion.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize and execute member, community, and employee events that are engaging and well-coordinated.
• Lead local volunteer initiatives, manage sponsorships, and build relationships that support the credit union’s mission.
• Contribute to and implement marketing plans across traditional media, digital marketing, content creation, and social media.
• Write marketing and communications copy for social media, email campaigns, newsletters, website content, and other channels.
• Work with budgets and data to evaluate campaign effectiveness and keep efforts aligned with credit union goals.
• Partner with internal departments to promote products, services, and internal initiatives.
• Maintain consistent, on-brand messaging across all platforms and represent Town & Country Credit Union with professionalism.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of hands-on marketing experience, ideally with increasing responsibility.
• Strong writing, proofreading, and communication skills.
• Experience managing social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
• Event planning ability and attention to detail.
• Experience using website CMS tools and familiarity with Canva and email marketing platforms.
• Creativity and initiative, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• A team-oriented approach, with genuine interest in community involvement and engagement.
