Job Description

KPFF Consulting Engineers is seeking a Marketing Proposal Manager to lead RFQ and RFP responses from its Seattle team in a hybrid work environment. You will coordinate with technical staff, subconsultants, and the graphics group, while preparing interview teams for engagements with public and private sector clients. The role blends leadership of proposal development with cross-functional collaboration to deliver thorough, compliant submissions.

Responsibilities

  • Independently initiate and lead the coordination and preparation of prime proposals of all sizes, working directly with technical staff as needed
  • Ensure compliance with agency requirements
  • Coordinate with and gather materials from subconsultants
  • Collaborate with the graphics team and provide oversight on graphics development
  • Write non-technical sections of proposals, including cover letters, executive summaries, project descriptions, resumes, and team qualifications
  • Review proposal drafts and final documents to ensure responsiveness, thoroughness, accuracy, and quality
  • Support the preparation of presentations and interviews as required

Requirements

  • 5+ years related experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or Equivalent
  • Working proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe InDesign
  • Excellent verbal communication, writing, proofreading, and organizational skills
  • Motivated self-starter with the ability to manage multiple deadlines under pressure
  • Collaborative team player with a positive attitude
  • Detail-oriented
  • Working knowledge of the Architectural/Engineering/Construction community in Seattle a plus

Additional Information

This position will require full in-office attendance during a training period; upon successful completion, the role will transition to a hybrid schedule.

Physical Demands

Duties are primarily conducted in a standard office setting, involving prolonged periods of sitting at a desk or computer. Occasional lifting of objects up to 15 lbs may be required.

Compensation

The base salary range for this role is $80,000 to $100,000 per year, determined by experience, education, and skills. The organization also offers performance-based bonuses as part of the compensation package.
