MIG, Inc. seeks a Marketing Manager focused on proposal and RFQ/RFP management for the AEC sector. This hybrid Seattle-based role reports to the Chief Development Officer and the Director of Marketing Operations and supports proposal development, interview materials, and collateral production.
Role Overview
The Marketing Manager coordinates cross-functional activities within a multidisciplinary marketing and business development team. The role provides strategic and tactical support to technical teams in crafting proposals, preparing interview presentations, and developing collateral to advance client opportunities in the architecture, engineering, and construction space.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate across offices and disciplines to assist marketing and business development efforts, supporting proposal development, production, interview presentations, and collateral creation.
- Ensure timely production and delivery of high-quality proposals, interview decks, and other rapid-response materials.
- Contribute to proposal strategy discussions and participate in interview preparation and support.
- Assist with the ongoing refresh of proposal assets, including resumes, project descriptions, and boilerplate content.
- Engage actively in team meetings to share best practices and drive continuous improvement.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, graphic design, or an AEC related field; a Masterβs degree is a plus.
- Proven experience producing proposals and qualifications packages for professional services or consulting firms.
- Experience in business development or supporting projects in urban planning, architecture, engineering, communications, or design/construction fields is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality work with strong quality control, proofreading, and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for internal collaboration and external client and subconsultant interactions.
- Ability to participate effectively in both small and large group discussions.
- Professional demeanor, positive attitude, and a sense of urgency to complete tasks on schedule.
- Collaborative by nature with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under deadlines.
- Active listening skills and the capacity to work with diverse personalities and professional styles.
- Proactive, organized, and flexible, with problem-solving capabilities under pressure.
- Software proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; familiarity with Google Suite and Deltek Vision is a plus.

Compensation and Work Details
Compensation ranges from USD 36.00 to 48.00 per hour. The position is hybrid remote in Seattle, Washington 98101. Expected hours are no more than 40 per week.
