Marketing Coordinator (Bilingual English/Spanish)

Join Johnnies Appliances onsite in Signal Hill, CA to coordinate bilingual, AI-assisted marketing across social, email, ads, reviews, and growth projects.

Responsibilities

• Shoot and post daily quick, casual phone videos at both stores (new arrivals, scratch & dent deals, delivery days, quick tips), batching film and editing in CapCut or similar; schedule via Metricool (about 2 short videos per day)
• Capture clean product photos for new arrivals and scratch & dent units to support the website and listings
• Respond to comments and DMs on Facebook and Instagram in English and Spanish; route hot leads to the sales team
• Maintain a 2–4 week content calendar to ensure each channel has scheduled content
• Post and refresh appliance listings daily on Facebook Marketplace and OfferUp; forward buyer questions to the sales team
• Review and send the weekly email in Mailchimp (AI drafts; you review, test, and send each week)
• Keep Google Business Profiles for both stores up to date with posts, photos, and updates in English and Spanish
• Execute weekly AI ad audit updates for Google Ads and Meta (swap tired creative, pause ended promos, launch approved campaigns; Owner approves all budgets)
• Build and roll out monthly holiday sale campaigns end-to-end, including social content, in-store signage, and email
• Coordinate printed materials such as promo flyers, banners, and in-store signage, including working with the print shop
• Keep the sales team aligned on every active promo so floor activity matches ad messaging
• File manufacturer co-op advertising claims: track eligible ad spend by brand and submit reimbursement paperwork
• Generate reviews from happy customers and respond to Google and Yelp reviews for both stores in English and Spanish
• Maintain activity on the company LinkedIn page with posts about commercial laundry leasing, deliveries, and wins aimed at property managers and business buyers
• Scan bid opportunities weekly on SAM.gov and Cal eProcure, flag options to the owner, and register for local conventions and community events
• Launch the SMS marketing program with the owner: select the platform, build the opt-in list, and run appointment reminders and promo texts
• Launch and maintain a customer referral program from scratch
• Keep website content current with product photos, promo banners, and landing page updates for active campaigns
• Bring new ideas to monthly marketing meetings

Requirements

• Bilingual English/Spanish: write and appear on camera in both languages (required)
• Comfort with being on camera and creating content from a phone; basic short-video editing experience (CapCut, Reels, TikTok, Shorts)
• Excitement to work with AI tools every day (training provided)
• Highly organized and self-directed, able to run a weekly checklist without being chased
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; commute between Downey and Signal Hill
