Job Description

The Marketing Consultant role is based onsite in Fort Mill, SC, and supports LPL Financial’s Institution Field Management Marketing by enabling 125 financial institution marketing teams to execute both digital and traditional campaigns. The position delivers scalable programs, self-service resources, group education, and targeted 1:1 consulting for ad hoc initiatives.

Role Overview

The Marketing Consultant operates within a scalable marketing program designed to grow supported Dual FI investment programs and advisors. This role combines self-service content, group education, and targeted one-on-one guidance to drive marketing success for participating institutions and advisors.

Responsibilities

  • Operate within a scalable marketing program that supports Supported Dual financial institution investment programs and advisors to grow through self-service content, group education, and targeted 1:1 consulting for ad hoc campaign requests.
  • Provide responsive marketing support tailored to advisor and program needs for sustainable workload management and service quality.
  • Enable advisor and program growth with on-demand resources such as webinars and modular content to facilitate independent marketing execution.
  • Assist with onboarding of newly onboarded advisors.
  • Develop a low-touch, prioritized path for readiness within the Pathway to Managed Affiliation Model (MAM) for high-potential programs.
  • Collaborate with Regional Investment Directors who act as relationship managers with assigned institutions, identifying needs and prioritizing support activities.
  • Foundational tier: create and maintain self-service resources including guides, recorded webinars, and FAQs.
  • Engagement tier: host monthly group education calls and office hours for programs.
  • Strategic tier: provide targeted 1:1 support for individual programs or complex initiatives.
  • Contribute to an evolving IFM Marketing team actively involved in multiple projects to enhance and grow the marketing offering and model.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field, or 5+ years of professional marketing experience.
  • 2+ years of graphic design experience.

Compensation

Salary range: USD 62,006 to 103,309 per year.
