Job Description

At The Mount - Edith Wharton's Home in Lenox, MA, the Marketing Associate helps share the organization’s story across key digital channels. This onsite, part-time role combines social media planning, project coordination, and design work to strengthen audience engagement and support broader communications efforts.

Location: Lenox, MA (onsite)
Job type: part time
Schedule: expected 40.0 hours/week; some evenings and weekends required
Salary: USD 45,000 - 50,000 per year
Relocation: relocate before starting work (Lenox, MA 01240 required)

What you’ll do

  • Maintain a consistent editorial calendar across Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok
  • Create ongoing, on-brand social content, engaging and responding to the audience to grow following
  • Oversee Google Display Ad campaigns
  • Populate listings on community event calendars
  • Assist in producing weekly email newsletters featuring news and upcoming events
  • Produce regular analytical reports on website and social media activity and engagement to guide content strategy
  • Design graphics and other visual content to support marketing initiatives
  • Maintain an organized internal catalog of photography and digital assets
  • Monitor press coverage and compile an annual press book
  • Attend staff and departmental meetings as needed

What you bring

  • 1-3 years of experience working in a marketing department (at least 1 year required)
  • Experience using MailChimp
  • Proven ability to create engaging content for Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok
  • Familiarity with WordPress
  • Interest in using analytics and data to inform content strategy
  • Strong eye for photography and graphic design, with experience in Photoshop, InDesign, or Canva
  • Excellent attention to detail and command of grammar
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Positive, communicative, and team-oriented approach
