Marketing Assistant

ABL Photography is hiring a part-time Marketing Assistant (hybrid in San Diego) to support multi-channel marketing efforts across digital and print.

Responsibilities

• Help develop and execute marketing strategies across channels including social media, email, and print advertising
• Perform market research to track trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences
• Create and support content for multiple platforms, including blog posts, social media updates, and website copy
• Manage social media activity by scheduling posts, responding to comments, and reviewing engagement metrics
• Assist with e-commerce by updating product listings and optimizing online content for search engines
• Collaborate with the marketing team on campaign budgeting and tracking expenses
• Use marketing automation tools to streamline processes and improve campaign effectiveness
• Maintain the company website using WordPress, ensuring content stays current and is visually appealing

Requirements

• Strong interest in marketing with a foundational understanding of social media marketing, copywriting, and e-commerce
• Experience or coursework in print advertising is a plus
• Proficiency with Google tools for analysis and reporting (e.g., Google Analytics)
• WordPress familiarity preferred for website management
• Strong research skills with the ability to analyze data effectively
• Excellent written communication and attention to detail for copywriting tasks
• Comfort working in a team environment while managing multiple projects
• Proactive mindset and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
