Job Description
Sentara Health Administration, Inc. is seeking a Marketing and Public Relations Specialist for an onsite role in Virginia Beach, VA. This position blends traditional media, digital marketing, and geo-social outreach to raise brand visibility, engage target audiences, and generate new business opportunities, supporting the organization's communications strategy across multiple channels.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement creative marketing and communications programs that boost brand visibility, engage key audiences, and generate new business opportunities.
- Coordinate traditional media, digital marketing, and geo-social channels to maintain a consistent brand footprint across all touchpoints.
- Oversee internal and external communications, using public relations, digital marketing, and content initiatives to advance organizational objectives.
- Create and execute strategic marketing plans that reach audiences through consumer venues, online forums, and buzz platforms by applying traditional media, geo-social channels, and digital marketing to preserve brand consistency.
- Track market trends and competitive landscapes to refine strategies as needed.
- Direct Public Relations and Communications to align with brand messaging; produce press releases, media pitches, and public statements to sustain a favorable brand image.
- Build and nurture relationships with media, influencers, and community partners to amplify the organization's voice.
- Oversee analytics for digital and social media campaigns.
- Plan and promote events, sponsorships, and partnerships to bolster brand recognition.
- Create content for websites, blogs, newsletters, and marketing collateral to stimulate consumer engagement.
- Develop content and storytelling that aligns with brand messaging and audience interests.
- Lead multi-channel campaigns that integrate traditional PR, content marketing, and social media tactics.
Requirements
- Minimum two years of marketing experience.
- Minimum two years of public relations experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Mass Communication is required.
- Strong digital and social media capabilities.
- Proven ability to build community relationships and partnerships across the region.
