Marketing and Events Specialist
Job Description
The Marketing and Events Specialist is a full-time, onsite role focused on B2B events and trade shows. The position emphasizes demand generation, campaign execution, content creation, and event management, with responsibilities spanning end-to-end event activities and cross-functional collaboration. This role is based in Long Valley, NJ, and requires frequent travel throughout the year.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of start-to-finish trade shows and events
- Collaborate with broader Marketing and Business Units to attract new business and drive growth
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Five years of experience in a related role
- Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.)
- Solid understanding of marketing principles and digital marketing tools
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools are a plus
- Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and take initiative
- Experience with CRM systems, specifically Salesforce

Schedule
Full-time | On-site | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Travel
Approximately 50% travel for trade shows and events
Compensation
Base salary: $70,000–$80,000 per year plus bonus
Company's Brand Interest
- Develop and execute marketing campaigns across digital, print, social, and email channels
- Coordinate and schedule social media posts on multiple platforms
- Create marketing materials such as flyers, emails, and presentations
- Update client collateral and develop new communications
- Plan events and provide direct support for trade shows, webinars, and other promotional activities
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis
- Track and report key business KPIs
- Assist with administrative tasks and other duties as assigned
Preferred (but not required)
- Multilingual capabilities in Spanish or French
