Job Description

Rooms To Go is hiring an Influencer & Affiliate Marketing Manager for Furniture.com in New York, NY (hybrid). This role will help build and scale an in-house influencer program and a new affiliate channel from scratch, owning both day-to-day execution and the systems that keep growth organized, trackable, and scalable. If you enjoy balancing creative judgment with performance-driven channel building, this position is built for you.

What you’ll do

  • Own day-to-day execution for an evolving creator portfolio, supporting approximately 40-50 active creator partners and 150-200+ annual content deliverables as the program scales.
  • Lead creator research, casting, vetting, and outreach across micro, mid-tier, and select macro creators.
  • Evaluate creators using audience fit, content quality, brand alignment, engagement signals, and performance potential tied to campaign goals.
  • Negotiate creator agreements covering rates, deliverables, exclusivity, usage rights, whitelisting, timelines, payment terms, and renewals.
  • Translate Brand Leadership’s creative strategy into creator briefs that preserve the brand idea while enabling authentic creator voice.
  • Manage production end-to-end, including timelines, creative review cycles, revisions, asset collection, approvals, rights, and publishing coordination.
  • Maintain relationships from first outreach through campaign completion, and identify creators well-suited for repeat collaborations.
  • Track creator and campaign performance, then surface actionable insights to improve casting, creative investment, and future activations.
  • Build the affiliate program strategy and turn it into an operating channel, including affiliate recruitment across creators, publishers, commerce partners, and relevant affiliates.
  • Assess affiliate and creator-commerce platforms (including Rakuten, ShopMy, CJ, Impact, and other relevant solutions) and recommend the best infrastructure.
  • Recommend program economics such as commission structures, tiers, incentives, attribution windows, payment terms, and promotional strategies.
  • Own partner onboarding, communication, support, and ongoing management processes.
  • Run affiliate operations: partner troubleshooting, platform management, revenue and performance monitoring, and ROI visibility.
  • Coordinate with Brand, PR, Social, Creative, and Finance on affiliated-driven content, co-marketing opportunities, budgets, documentation, and compliance.
  • Create scalable infrastructure and clear workflows for contracting, approvals, payments, asset management, usage rights, gifting, and partner communication.
  • Maintain accurate creator documentation and a source of truth for relationships, campaign status, assets, rights, costs, and performance, including contracts, W-9s, invoices, and payment status.

What you bring

  • 4+ years of experience in influencer, creator, affiliate, or partnership marketing for a consumer, retail, lifestyle, e-commerce, or similarly relevant brand.
  • Hands-on experience owning or materially helping build an affiliate program.
  • Experience working within affiliate networks or creator-commerce platforms such as Rakuten, Impact, CJ, ShopMy, LTK, or comparable tools.
  • Strong understanding of affiliate economics: commission structures, attribution, partner incentives, conversion, and ROI.
  • Ability to independently manage creator relationships from casting and outreach through contracting, production, and completion.
  • Proven ability to manage high-volume partnerships and deliverables with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience negotiating influencer agreements including rates, usage rights, exclusivity, and other commercial terms.
  • Working knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube creator ecosystems and formats.
  • Comfort using performance data to make practical recommendations.
  • Strong spreadsheet skills and willingness to learn new marketing and operational platforms.
  • Knowledge of FTC disclosure requirements and creator marketing compliance.
  • Exceptional project management, organization, and the ability to build systems in an environment where processes may still be forming.
  • Comfort managing many moving pieces while keeping collaborators from feeling like they are part of a machine.
  • Preference for solving problems early, meeting deadlines independently, and translating complex programs into workable processes.
  • Enjoy working across both the creative and commercial sides of creator marketing.
