Director of Marketing
Job Description
Legends Global invites a Director of Marketing to join the Save Mart Center in Fresno, CA. This onsite leadership role drives revenue through marketing across touring events and multiple lines of business within the arena division, covering digital and traditional marketing, external communications, partner integration, and creative oversight. You will report to the General Manager and the Legends Global Marketing Network. Salary range: $90,000–$105,000 per year.

The position offers the chance to influence a broad slate of events at a major venue, collaborate across promoters, sales teams, and corporate offices, and contribute to a data-driven approach that enhances guest experience and revenue opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Regularly review ticket sales metrics and adjust marketing tactics to boost awareness and sales as needed.
- Collaborate with promoters to lead venue marketing support, planning, and timeline management for touring events.
- Initiate and execute digital marketing campaigns for large-scale events to drive ticket sales and maximize event visibility.
- Serve as a cross-functional connector with venue stakeholders, Legends Global Home Office, client administrators, tenants, and other partners.
- Work with venue sales teams and the Legends Global Home Office to develop premium seating and private event marketing campaigns aimed at revenue generation.
- Leverage data and CRM platforms to build targeted campaigns that increase ticket conversions and repeat guest visitation.
- Manage in-venue digital and static assets to maximize ancillary revenues.
- Own the strategy and execution of paid media across all channels.
- Review and measure campaigns against revenue-focused KPIs.
- Partner with media and partners for value-add opportunities and deployment support.
- Oversee the indirect marketing budget to ensure resources align with revenue opportunities.
- Oversee the venue calendar and maintain content posting cadence.
- Develop strategy and lead team execution, including competitive analysis, data reporting, and platform updates.
- Oversee social listening and metrics evaluation using Sprout Social.
- Maintain and optimize all owned digital assets, including website and social channels, to ensure a frictionless path to purchase.
- Direct the facility's public relations image and represent the venue externally.
- Establish and maintain relationships with media, industry influencers, and key community and strategic partners.
- Serve as the facility spokesperson and a liaison with the general public.
- Assign or create all creative content and allocate workload by bandwidth and revenue focus for above items.
- Perform supervisory responsibilities in line with Legends Global policies, including interviewing, hiring, training, performance reviews, rewards, discipline, and problem resolution.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in marketing or a related field
- 8 to 10 years of marketing experience
- 3 to 5 years of supervisory experience
- Previous experience in entertainment and/or venue marketing preferred
