Job Description

The Executive Communications Specialist supports Deloitte’s Executive Communications program by helping design, coordinate, and continuously improve onboarding and engagement processes for participating leaders. Reporting to Executive Communications leadership, this role develops written materials, drives process innovation, measures program effectiveness, and helps ensure a consistent experience for executive participants.

Onboarding & Engagement Process Management

Contribute to the design, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of onboarding frameworks for leaders in the Executive Communications program, with a focus on efficient processes and alignment with best practices. Own, with limited oversight, the preparation and logistics for iterative conversations with leaders so Executive Communications leaders can provide timely support and guidance.

Communications Programs

Support internal and external communications programs for Deloitte leaders intended to amplify the Deloitte brand and reinforce priority messages in the market. Contribute to the execution of social leadership programs for Deloitte leaders, including content development, engagement activities, and impact assessment.

Executive Insights, Reporting & Analytics

Collect, prepare, and synthesize executive presence impact and outcomes. Develop personalized insights and recommendations for executives and their teams regarding the impact of external events, media coverage, and social media activity. Utilize analytics to assess program performance, identify trends, and support data-driven decision making.

Required Qualifications

  • Understanding of communicating priorities, mitigating impacts, and managing multiple technical projects with competing deadlines and stakeholders, particularly when requirements change.
  • High degree of discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information and interacting confidentially with senior leaders.
  • Experience working on external programs is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and quality of work product.
  • Ability to build and sustain professional relationships.
  • Ability to lead projects or workstreams.
  • Capability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor, including meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to mentor and provide clear guidance to others.
  • Internal professionals currently within BM&C only.
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Communications, English, Public Relations, Journalism, or Marketing Communications.
  • 1+ years of relevant experience in marketing communications or public relations.
  • Ability to synthesize large sets of information, extract insights, and develop recommendations.
  • Sound project management, organization, strategic planning, and analytical skills.
  • Microsoft Office Suite skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Experience directly supporting senior Deloitte leaders.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment with the ability to learn quickly, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and writing skills, ability to effectively manage up, and sound decision-making skills.
  • Inclusive mindset.
  • Demonstrated ability to support conversations with an executive audience.
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
  • Ability to travel 0–10%, on average, based on work, clients, and industries or sectors served.

Compensation & Location

Salary range: USD 54,500 - 90,800 per year. Location: Louisville, KY 40202 (onsite). This role requires proximity to a US office (US-based).

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program.
