Monument Metals, a fast-growing ecommerce precious metals dealer based in Frederick, Maryland, is expanding its marketing team with a hands-on Senior Ecommerce Marketing Specialist. This role centers on growing email and SMS revenue, sharpening segmentation, and turning inventory opportunities into campaigns. The position is onsite in Frederick, MD with a salary of USD 75,000 - 85,000 per year and requires 5β8 years of ecommerce marketing experience, collaborating with the CMO, CEO, creative, and technical teams to plan, execute, and optimize campaigns across email, SMS, website merchandising, and lifecycle flows.
Responsibilities
- Help own and execute the weekly promotional calendar
- Learn how leadership selects products based on inventory, pricing, market movement, and customer demand
- Build and execute segmented email and SMS campaigns
- Improve customer lifecycle journeys, automations, winback campaigns, and retention flows
- Develop product promotion strategies for gold, silver, bullion, coins, bars, and related categories
- Partner with the creative team on email layouts, banners, product messaging, and campaign assets
- Collaborate with the technical team on homepage features, category merchandising, landing pages, and onsite promotional placement
- Analyze campaign performance, revenue, conversion, AOV, segmentation results, and customer behavior
- Recommend promotional opportunities based on inventory, customer segments, and market conditions
- Use AI tools to improve speed, strategy, segmentation, content planning, and campaign execution
- Help increase email/SMS revenue, improve retention, and reduce reliance on leadership for daily product promotion decisions
Requirements
- 5β8 years of ecommerce marketing experience
- Experience with email marketing platforms such as Attentive, Klaviyo, Mailchimp, or similar
- Strong understanding of segmentation, customer journeys, campaign planning, and lifecycle marketing
- Ecommerce platform experience such as Magento, Shopify, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, or similar
- Experience supporting product promotions, merchandising, inventory-driven campaigns, or revenue-focused ecommerce marketing
- Comfortable reviewing marketing performance data and making recommendations
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work hands-on in a fast-moving ecommerce environment
- Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple campaigns at once

Role Overview
The Senior Ecommerce Marketing Specialist will help own the commercial marketing engine for Monument Metals. This role sits at the intersection of ecommerce, product marketing, lifecycle marketing, segmentation, merchandising, and revenue-driving campaign execution. This is a hands-on ecommerce marketing role focused on moving product, improving customer journeys, increasing email/SMS revenue, and turning inventory and market opportunities into successful campaigns. You will work closely with the CMO, CEO, creative team, and technical team to plan, execute, and optimize promotional campaigns across email, SMS, website merchandising, and customer lifecycle flows.
