Job Description
Arcadia Care Havana, a skilled nursing facility in Havana, Illinois, is seeking a Marketing Liaison to serve as the bridge between the facility and hospital networks. In this on-site role, you will cultivate relationships with hospital partners to drive patient referrals and admissions, ensuring a smooth transition for residents, with a salary range of USD 50,000 - 55,000 per year and a requirement of a high school diploma or GED.
Responsibilities
- 2 to 3 years of sales and/or marketing experience in healthcare, with long-term care marketing preferred.
- Familiarity with admissions processes at sub-acute, SNF, or rehab facilities.
- Experience understanding Medicare, Medicaid, and Managed Care subacute guidelines.
- Ability to establish strong working relationships with social workers, nurses, physicians, and case managers in assigned hospitals and other medical facilities as appropriate.
- Excellent organizational skills with a detail-oriented approach to documentation.
- Superior follow-up abilities and the capacity to organize and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Professional telephone skills to handle referral calls efficiently, meeting the needs of referral sources and families.
- Computer experience and familiarity with hospital EHR systems preferred.
- Primary sales and marketing representative for managing hospital and community referrals and admissions.
- Develop strong relationships with case management personnel and identify new opportunities for alignment, partnering, and growth.
- Collaborate with the facility admissions team to develop monthly plans and strategies to generate new business.
- Participate in monthly reports on sales activity and shifts among competitors and referral sources, contributing to the marketing plan.
- Ensure the admission process is seamless and positive by identifying necessary devices and immediate medical needs for a smooth transition.
- Communicate critical and strategic changes to hospital functions, relationships, programs, and opportunities.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Patience, tact, a cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm; ability to engage residents, staff, and visitors at varying levels of functioning.
