Marketing and Outreach Coordinator

Onsite in Devils Lake, ND, this Marketing and Outreach Coordinator role supports the Behavioral Health Department by building relationships with partner agencies and promoting all programs, with a particular focus on the LIHEAP application. You will educate others about our services as the public face of the organization, and travel outside the office at least 60% of the time. Compensation ranges from $17.00 to $25.00 per hour, with a comprehensive benefits package to follow.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate connections and build relationships with other agencies
• Promote and market all Behavioral Health Department programs, with a focus on the LIHEAP application
• Represent the organization by educating the public about our programs and services
• Travel and/or work outside the office for at least 60% of the time

Requirements

• Associate degree in a related field required, or 1 year of experience in a directly related field such as human services, sales, customer service, or business-related work as defined by the hiring manager (transcripts/degrees required at the time of offer)
• A valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, reliable transportation, and proof of vehicle insurance as required by state law for the duties
• Successful completion of a criminal background check, drug screening, and ND Department of Human Service pre-employment approval
• Completion of training as required by Community Options
• Underfill option: if qualified applicants are unavailable, we may offer an underfilled Marketing and Outreach Coordinator I position at $17.00 per hour with minimum qualifications of a high school diploma or GED and two years of related experience; an associate degree may be used in lieu of two years of experience or degree
• Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing
• Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills
• Proficiency with the full Microsoft Office suite, especially PowerPoint
• Strong organizational, customer service, and networking skills
• Ability to manage resources and multiple projects while meeting regulatory and program requirements
• Public speaking experience
• Knowledge of community resources
• Maintain a professional demeanor when representing the company
