Marketing and Communications Manager
Job Description
NIC Global offers an onsite Marketing and Communications Manager role in Gallatin, TN with a competitive USD 90,000 annual salary and a comprehensive benefits package. This position focuses on building NIC's external brand while coordinating internal communications across five sites, including executive-level events planning and leadership offsites, reporting to the CEO.
Responsibilities
- Own NIC's external brand presence across the website, LinkedIn, customer-facing collateral, and case studies.
- Develop and execute a content cadence for NIC's target markets — heavy-duty trucks, electric power distribution, and medical imaging — covering trade press, industry outlets, and a focused LinkedIn program.
- Strengthen NIC's employer brand to support recruiting for leadership roles and skilled trades.
- Collaborate with the Commercial team on customer-facing assets, capability presentations, and proposal materials.
- Establish and sustain a regular internal communications rhythm across all five sites, including CEO messaging cascades, town halls, plant-level recognition, and change communications.
- Translate operational and technology initiatives such as AI strategy and digital manufacturing rollouts into accessible communications for frontline operators, supervisors, and plant leadership.
- Own the company narrative through organizational transitions, leadership moves, and customer wins.
- Partner with HR on employee engagement communications, onboarding content, and culture initiatives.
- Support board-facing and investor materials when communications expertise is needed.
- Plan and execute management offsites, leadership meetings, and all-hands events across NIC sites from inception to delivery.
- Coordinate customer outings, on-site events, and plant tours, including agenda, logistics, materials, and hospitality.
- Lead NIC's trade show presence, including booth planning, collateral, and engagement strategies for customers and prospects.
- Capture content from events, such as recognition moments and customer interactions, and feed it back into internal and external channels.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, English, or a related discipline.
- Seven to ten years of B2B marketing and communications experience, ideally in manufacturing, industrial, or technical product sectors.
