Field Marketing Manager- New Studio Openings & Growth
Job Description
Barry's seeks a Field Marketing Manager to lead the marketing strategy and execution for new studio openings in New York.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategy and hands-on marketing activation for all assigned Barry's studio openings.
- Develop comprehensive market entry and launch plans that raise awareness and drive pre-sale memberships before openings.
- Coordinate with Real Estate, Operations, and Marketing/Sales teams to align timelines and activation phases for new openings.
- Manage the full lifecycle of new studios, including market introduction, brand awareness, and activation efforts.
- Drive pre-sale lead generation and pre-opening membership acquisition to support early enrollment.
- Set and pursue pre-sale and post-sale goals, and oversee grand opening marketing and launch events.
- Define the first 90 days stabilization strategy for new studios.
- Travel to new markets to lead local marketing activation during key phases of openings.
- Serve as the primary marketing partner to studio leadership during pre-opening and early operating periods.
- Conduct market demographic deep dives using Placer data and the demographic tactic playbook to tailor tactics for target client types.
Requirements
- 2+ years of marketing, PR, or communications experience
- Experience in event marketing, partnerships, or market launches preferred
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-growth environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives and tight deadlines simultaneously
