Event and Retail Marketing Promoter

Appleby Systems, Inc. is hiring an Event and Retail Marketing Promoter in Harrisburg, PA for an onsite role focused on in-person brand representation, customer engagement, and promotion.

Responsibilities

• Represent brands with confidence through engaging product demonstrations and promotional activities at retail locations and events
• Collect valuable customer data during promotions to support marketing campaigns and improve outreach strategies
• Manage social media platforms by sharing event highlights, engaging followers, and promoting upcoming demos or promotions
• Build strong customer relationships through exceptional in-person service, including answering questions and addressing customer needs
• Promote products actively by explaining features, benefits, and usage tips to encourage purchases and brand loyalty
• Handle sales objections professionally to convert inquiries into opportunities
• Conduct in-store product knowledge sessions to educate customers about brand offerings and improve the shopping experience

Requirements

• Previous food service or retail experience is highly advantageous for understanding customer interactions and service excellence
• Proven ability to manage data collection accurately during promotional activities or events
• Experience using social media management tools and creating content to increase brand visibility online
• Bilingual skills are a plus to support communication with diverse customer groups
• Strong background in event marketing, public speaking, or product demos that captivate audiences
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer engagement and relationship building
• Knowledge of retail store product lines combined with technical proficiency to explain features clearly and confidently
• Ability to address sales objections tactfully while maintaining a positive brand image
