Event and Retail Marketing Promoter

Appleby Systems, Inc. is hiring an Event and Retail Marketing Promoter in Hanover, PA (onsite) to strengthen brand visibility through in-person activations and retail engagement.

Responsibilities

• Represent brands through in-store product demonstrations and event activations to attract customer interest
• Interact with customers using friendly, informative communication about product features and benefits
• Collect and record valuable customer data during promotions to support marketing campaigns and improve outreach strategies
• Manage social media accounts by sharing event updates, engaging followers, and increasing online brand visibility
• Promote products by explaining value propositions and addressing customer questions or sales objections professionally
• Coordinate with team members to set up promotional displays, ensure product availability, and keep the retail environment active and well-stocked
• Deliver public speaking engagements at events to educate audiences about the brand and offerings, supporting brand image

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or retail environments is highly advantageous
• Strong data collection skills to accurately document customer interactions and feedback during promotions
• Proficiency with social media management tools for content sharing and audience engagement
• Bilingual abilities are a plus for communicating with diverse customer groups
• Excellent communication skills for product demos and public speaking engagements
• Experience in customer relationship building to create lasting impressions and foster loyalty
• Knowledge of retail store products combined with technical proficiency to demonstrate features confidently
• Ability to handle sales objections tactfully while maintaining a positive customer experience
• In-person customer service skills that emphasize responsiveness, friendliness, and professionalism
• Experience in event marketing or branding initiatives that improve visibility and engagement strategies

Compensation & Location

• Pay: $15.00 - $35.00 per hour
