Direct Marketing Manager

The Direct Marketing Manager is responsible for shaping and optimizing Uline’s direct marketing strategy, turning customer and campaign data into actionable insights. This onsite role in Pleasant Prairie, WI leads direct marketing programs, manages customer file performance, and collaborates across teams to improve targeting, engagement, and ROI.

Role Summary

Own the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of Uline’s direct marketing initiatives. Translate data into insights that support acquisition, retention, and growth, while managing direct marketing programs and customer file performance through cross-functional partnership.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead customer and prospect marketing programs focused on acquisition, retention, and growth.
• Manage and develop a team of Marketing Associates, including high-volume campaign execution such as targeting, segmentation, approvals, and performance tracking.
• Own customer file performance and develop segmentation strategy, translating analytics into practical marketing actions.
• Partner with Creative, Merchandising, Purchasing, eCommerce, and Sales to align campaigns with brand guidelines and business priorities.
• Use campaign performance results and customer behavior to identify opportunities that strengthen targeting, engagement, and ROI.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree; a major in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field is preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in Direct Marketing or Database Marketing.
• Experience in B2B is a plus.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and analytical software, including SAS.
