FT (Fasturtle) is a 25 year old, full‑service digital marketing agency based in Phoenix, AZ. We provide real leads and measurable growth for SMBs in home services, contractors, HVAC, landscaping, garage and closet design, and medical verticals. The Digital Marketing Manager is a player coach who leads from the middle of the operation. You do not execute campaigns yourself; you ensure the people who execute them have clear direction, the right tools, and accountability for performance. You own the coordination of SEO, paid advertising, GHL platform governance, email marketing, and AI‑driven efficiency, reporting to the President and aligning cross‑functional teammates.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership for SEO by guiding the team, reviewing campaigns weekly, setting priorities, interpreting performance data, staying current with Google updates and AI/GEO developments, and escalating strategic issues as needed
  • Set the standard for paid advertising excellence in Google Ads and Meta, conduct regular performance reviews, offer actionable feedback, optimize budgets and audiences, identify copy weaknesses, synthesize data for executive reporting, and escalate strategic decisions to the CEO as necessary
  • Own GHL end to end, including administration, lead capture funnels, follow up sequences, CRM structures, team training, workflow documentation, automation opportunities, and quick troubleshooting
  • Oversee client‑facing email production and campaigns via GHL or Constant Contact; manage list segmentation, scheduling, and delivery; craft or direct email copy in FT’s voice; monitor open rates, CTR, conversions, deliverability, and list health
  • Champion AI driven efficiency by maintaining a library of prompts and templates, identifying where automated workflows can reduce repetitive work, evaluating new tools, and driving adoption across the team
  • Maintain a consistent reporting cadence across SEO, paid, email, and GHL operations; surface blockers early and present decisions to the President; document standard operating procedures for key workflows

Requirements

  • 4+ years of digital marketing experience, agency environment strongly preferred
  • Expert level Go High Level (GHL) operator with automations, funnels, pipelines, CRM, and sub‑accounts
  • Proven track record in directing SEO and paid media (Google Ads and Meta)
  • Experience managing or leading a small team or function
  • Demonstrated experience with email marketing strategy, copy direction, segmentation, and performance reporting
  • Active, proficient user of Claude or comparable AI tools
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-directed and outcome oriented, capable of owning your area without heavy supervision
