General Function
The Marketing Manager delivers broad project management, coordination, and strategic execution support for the System Solutions Group. This role may be performed in person or remotely. You will implement product plans, pricing, promotions, co op programs, research, segment strategy, and placement strategies to nurture the pro audio sales channel, elevate brand perception, and drive growth across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a marketing calendar for the designated markets.
- Prepare Marketing Communications Requests for POP materials, dealer ads, price addendums, and other needs, guiding projects from start to finish.
- Collaborate with product development to assemble and distribute product launch packs for internal and external use.
- Oversee marketing focus, media, budgets, and scheduling for key accounts in coordination with the sales manager.
- Conduct marketing audits with major accounts to ensure messaging remains on target.
- Generate reports from enterprise systems and point of sale data, analyzing results to identify opportunities to increase placement and sales of Audio-Technica products.
- Monitor and report on marketing and department budgets.
- Research and prepare competitive marketing intelligence reports as needed.
- Manage sponsorships within the market segment.
- Design and execute internal and external marketing research and report findings.
- Coordinate marketing in service training for various departments to share promotions and product knowledge.
- Drive marketing messaging and promotions to the dealer level to ensure compliance and implementation.
- Identify and coordinate opportunities for press releases, blogs, articles, reviews, and related communications.
- Coordinate, facilitate, and maintain market specific rebate promotions.
- Assist with regional and national trade shows as needed.
- Organize and track apparel and swag budgets and selections.
- Handle miscellaneous administrative responsibilities within the System Solutions Department.
Requirements
- Industry Knowledge: a background in commercial, professional, or consumer audio electronics is preferred.
- Market Analysis: ability to conduct thorough research to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges within market segments.
- Strategic Thinking: capacity to develop and execute plans tailored to target segments, including positioning and promotional tactics.
- Customer Insights: skill in gathering and interpreting data to understand segment needs and behaviors.
- Communication Skills: strong ability to convey strategies and collaborate with cross functional teams and stakeholders.
- Product Knowledge: understanding of Audio-Technica products and how they meet segment needs.
- Analytical Skills: capacity to analyze data and KPIs to evaluate campaigns and make data driven decisions.
- Leadership and Collaboration: ability to lead and work with sales, product development, and marketing teams to align segment strategies.
- Project Management: proficiency in handling multiple projects, setting priorities, and meeting deadlines in a fast paced environment.
