Based in Seattle, WA with remote options, the Influencer Marketing Manager will own Whatnot's paid influencer program, overseeing creator relationships from top-tier to mid-tier and driving program-wide performance metrics. The role offers a salary range of USD 126,000 to 165,000 per year.
Responsibilities
- Lead the overall influencer strategy and execution for the paid influencer program at Whatnot.
- Cultivate and manage a portfolio of creator partnerships ranging from top-tier and macro talent to high-performing mid-tier creators.
- Track core performance metrics and report results, actively advancing program-wide goals.
- Identify and engage high-impact creators across YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram, moving deals from initial outreach through long-term performance and managing partnerships end-to-end.
- Design campaigns aligned with defined creator archetypes and activation formats, collaborating closely with the Category Marketing team.
- Proactively source and reach out to creators via email, direct messages, or other effective channels.
- Negotiate agreements in line with CAC, FTB, and LTV targets, and shepherd approvals through to signature.
- Provide premium support to partners to ensure solid product understanding, high-quality content, on-time delivery, and prompt payment.
- Develop and maintain a scalable creator roster that includes macro and top-tier partnerships delivering outsized impact, plus a mid-tier bench for high-volume activation.
Requirements
- Demonstrated success running end-to-end influencer campaigns that deliver measurable results, owning the full deal lifecycle from sourcing to execution.
- Experience managing top-tier and macro creator relationships, with judgment to push or pause and to unlock outsized value.
- Comfort working across creator tiers, capable of handling a macro deal while building a mid-tier roster in the same week.
- Background in a high-growth environment, able to own substantial scope, move quickly, and adapt as needed.
- Strong familiarity with internet culture to identify trends, creators, and opportunities to grow the Whatnot brand.
- Skilled at crafting clear creative briefs and guiding creators, with a clear sense of what constitutes compelling content.
- Highly analytical and data-driven, using metrics to steer strategy, iterate, and report on performance.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity, forming a point of view, and executing plans, whether refining an existing playbook or building a new one.
- Resourceful and adaptable, willing to dive into details and handle tasks of any size.
