This role balances patient intake management with strategic marketing oversight in a skilled nursing setting, aiming to streamline admissions, grow referrals, and sustain a positive public image that supports census goals and profitability.
The position centers on coordinating the customer journey from inquiry through admission while guiding the communityโs marketing program to deliver strong satisfaction among customers, referrals, and payers, and to maximize census and financial performance.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the patient flow and the admissions process to ensure a smooth experience for prospective residents and families
- Lead the community's marketing program, aligning efforts to drive referrals, payer satisfaction, market reach, and profitability
- Direct activities that support admissions decisions and positive admission experiences
- Coordinate tours, admissions steps, insurance verifications, and pre-certifications as part of the intake workflow
Requirements
- Develop and maintain professional relationships across local healthcare markets
- Generate referrals by building connections with hospitals, physicians, independent and assisted living facilities, and other community resources
- Coordinate tours, admissions, insurance verifications and pre-certifications
- Engage in community outreach such as health fairs, wellness checks, and caregiver support groups
- Make regular marketing calls and visits to referral sources to increase referrals and admissions
- Support admissions decisions and ensure a positive experience for customers and families
- Provide exceptional service to both external and internal customers
- Minimum of three years of experience in a healthcare setting
- High school diploma or equivalent

Position Summary

Shift & Wage
Full-Time opportunity with shifts Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; hourly wage of $34.00 to $37.00.
