Job Description

Field Sales Marketing Manager for PepsiCo oversees field activation, sampling, and consumer activation for poppi in New York City and Long Island, collaborating with agencies, distributor Big Geyser, and leadership to drive growth.

Compensation: USD 80,700 - 135,100 per year

Location: Purchase, NY (onsite). This role must be based in New York City or Long Island.

Responsibilities

  • Design and run sampling programs and experiential activations across priority NYC neighborhoods and retail environments
  • Coordinate activations with retail programs, seasonal moments, and local events
  • Optimize deployment plans and site selection to maximize trial, visibility, and in-market velocity
  • Maintain brand standards and execution excellence across all activations
  • Oversee third-party field marketing agencies and on-site execution teams
  • Set clear expectations, KPIs, and performance benchmarks for activation work
  • Collaborate with Big Geyser to align priorities, inventory support, and activation timing
  • Provide weekly updates to poppi leadership and distributor partners including activation coverage and schedules
  • Share weekly performance insights and learnings with leadership and partners
  • Deliver weekly market feedback and competitive activity updates to leadership and distributor partners
  • Communicate opportunities and risks on a consistent weekly basis
  • Deliver post-activation recaps with ROI insights and actionable recommendations
  • Identify high-impact locations and continuously optimize future activations

Requirements

  • 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in field marketing, experiential campaigns, demos/sampling programs, and brand activations
  • Car and valid driver's license required for field travel across NYC and Long Island
  • Experience managing agency partners and supervising on-the-ground execution
  • Proven ability to plan, execute, and recap high-volume field activations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to deliver business-ready recaps
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Comfortable working independently with high autonomy in a fast-paced, high growth brand

Travel and Vehicle

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in consumer packaged goods, with food or beverage a plus
  • Prior agency experience
  • Experience supporting distributor-led or retail-adjacent activations
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field preferred but not required
