Job Description
The Director of Marketing & Business Development role at Tri Boro Credit Union in Munhall, PA oversees marketing materials, campaigns, newsletters, website features, and community engagement.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain marketing materials, campaigns, and quarterly newsletters.
- Oversee website functions, phone system announcements, marketing on hold, and member access products and services as assigned.
- Lead internal and external membership development initiatives.
- Create, refine, and manage cross selling strategies for employees and overall credit union marketing.
- Contact and visit surrounding businesses and organizations to build relationships for credit union drives.
- Represent the credit union at community chambers and business events as opportunities arise.
- Maintain and update the website and chat feature.
- Produce newsletters, statement messages, hospital ads, and lobby ads.
- Develop a yearly marketing plan.
- Keep lobby and office materials and brochure displays organized, stocked, and professional.
- Coordinate, assist, facilitate, and attend credit union functions as assigned.
- Identify advertisement opportunities, event sponsorships, and attendance opportunities, assisting other staff as needed.
- Serve as the credit union liaison to identify market related demands for new or adjusted products and services.
- Maintain sponsorship and advertising request reports and ensure coordination of board and management approved requests.
- Perform additional duties as assigned, including receptionist duties.
Requirements
- 2 to 5 years of related experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) and Adobe Photoshop.
- Strong interpersonal skills for communicating with coworkers, vendors, organizations, associations, members, and prospective members.
- Highly reliable, mature, capable of multitasking, organized, flexible, and self-sufficient in a demanding role.
- Willingness to attend conferences and training seminars, with potential overnight travel, evenings, and weekends.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask; strong organizational skills; deadline and detail orientation.
